Sarah R. Eyster, LSW
Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

Since April of 1998, Sarah R. Eyster has been a part of the CBHNP team. In her most recent promotion to Vice President of Strategic Affairs, she is responsible for the overall management and expansion of the CBHNP Children’s Outcomes Monitoring Program, managing specialty contracts, assisting in new program development, and coordinating training and conference activities.

Her first position at CBHNP was the Project Manager to create community options for adults leaving the state mental hospital. Ms. Eyster was responsible for a $9 million annual budget that she used to develop 22 new programs that included housing, vocational, and treatment components for this population. In 2001, she was offered the position of Director of Clinical Operations at CBHNP and was responsible for the management of the clinical department including utilization management. She assisted with the development of the CBHNP Children’s Model and Children’s Outcomes Monitoring Program. She went on to be the Clinical Project Manager where she was responsible for corporate clinical leadership specifically the Children’s Outcomes Monitoring Program. In this position, she developed the infrastructure to support a web-based outcomes program for all providers of the CBHNP Capital Area, developed clinical standards, and conducted clinical chart audits to improve provider performance.

Ms. Eyster went to Cedar Crest College in 1990 to earn her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and in 1995 obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Marywood University. As a frequent trainer and presenter, she presents on a variety of Behavioral Health topics related to managed care and children’s services.
