Vice President of Administration

Mr. West has been with the company since 1997 and during his tenure, CBHNP has grown from a handful of employees to its current status as the largest third party administrator in the region. In his current position as Vice President of Administration, he is responsible for all contractual compliance and assists in business development. He also serves as CBHNP’s Security Officer and Privacy Officer and has contributed substantially to developing and managing CBHNP’s Corporate Compliance Program.

Prior to becoming VP of Administration, Mr. West served as Vice President of Business Development. In this position he was responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and submitting proposals for new programs, and facilitating implementation and support of new contracts. Previously he served as COO for CBHNP’s Scranton Office during the formative months of development, implementing systems, developing infrastructure, and supervising contract negotiations in that service area.

With over 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field, including 29 years on the provider side, Mr. West has expertise in government relations, experience in marketing and public relations, and strong analytical and communications skills.

Mr. West received his undergraduate degree in English from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and earned his Master’s degree at Lehigh University, also in Pennsylvania, in Social Relations consisting of Social Psychology and Social Research studies. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles and professional presentations on substance abuse, managed care, and public policy.
