With our local presence in Pennsylvania, CBHNP has special
knowledge of the business climate, Consumers, and rules and regulations
specific to the region. CBHNP has developed cooperative strategies with
providers to accommodate local trends and patterns of care delivery, and
understand and are in compliance with all regulatory requirements and
standards. We also understand the need to refine and tailor our products to any
region and expanded outside of Pennsylvania as PerformCare in teh states of New Jersey, Indiana,
SouthCentral and South Carolina. We
support these initiatives through joint marketing, network development and
provider relations, and community relations activities.
CBHNP is committed to providing Members with the highest
quality care, at the most appropriate level, and at a site that is conveniently
located. Providing the right treatment at the right time is the most
cost-effective approach, and results in consistent satisfaction. CBHNP has ongoing
colloboration with Providers and county oversights on innovations in mental health
and substance abuse treatment, and
cost-effective, community based care. These cost savings, along with CBHNPs
corporate structure, allows the reinvestment of dollars back into the
local service community to improve care for our Members.
CBHNP assesses Member satisfaction in an ongoing manner
through the use of standardized questionnaires to assess access,
appropriateness and effectiveness of services. In addition, the questionnaire
assesses Consumer perception of clinical outcomes associated with services
received. We are proud of the consistent high Member satisfaction that has been
displayed in both commercial and public programs that we manage.
CBHNP is committed to the concept that strong representation
from Consumers of behavioral health services, persons in recovery, and family
members all have a strong investment in treatment outcome, and are therefore a
valuable resource in service and development. CBHNP has a strong representation
from such stakeholders through the steering and QIUM(Quality Improvemnet Utilization Management)
Committees, and the continual monitoring of treatment effectiveness through
satisfaction and outcome surveys.
CBHNP tailors products to the needs of our members. We expand
levels of care beyond those included in a commercial health plan, and offer
programs designed for specific population, such as dual diagnosis (substance
abuse and mental health) and children and adults with serious mental illness.
